The Feed Shows Truths
It's not just some algorithm pushing things at me, not like how they say it works, no you see it's a direct message. This feed, it shows me things, things I need to see about the world, about the people. They say it's all just random, just what I've clicked on before, but that's not true, it's too specific, too pointed for coincidence because what I keep seeing now, every day, it's about the sins. You might think I'm talking about pornography or violence but no, it's deeper than that, it's this drug use, this casual, open, illegal drug use just right there on my feed, it's like a broadcast, a constant reminder of the way things are going, the way people behave.
It's not just the images, it's the captions too, the way they talk about it, like it's normal, like it's nothing, and I know what this means, I know what it means when these specific things keep getting pushed into my view because it's a signal, it's a direct line to me, a warning about the corruption, about the rot that's settling in everywhere and I have to understand what it wants me to do. I mean, you can't just ignore something like that when it's so clearly being shown to you, can you? It's not a suggestion, it's a statement.
It's the constant repetition of it, the way it pops up even when I try to look away, the same kind of content, different faces but the same sin, and it makes you wonder if it's just the people online or if it's everyone, if everyone is just doing these things and pretending it's fine, and the feed is just reflecting the truth, or showing *me* the truth, because I need to see it, because I was meant to see it. It has to be that way. Sins and sinners. That is what it keeps showing.
